SERO-NIGERIANITIS!

I was young and now, am old;

Since mama born me into life;

Day long into night-every day;

In naira land, I’ve always seen:

The righteous men abandon.

Pls, shout alalayah somebody!

Election comes, votes a beg;

Promises time, oath comes:

Men, maso gbogbo oke d’ile!

Short while, election is over;

Fulfill time comes o: ofo fee!

Poor man gnash inna teeth;

While Dasuki, Ngozi smiles:

Hah, naja mumu nefa do o!

I was young and now, am old;

Since mama born me into life;

Day long into night-every day;

In naira land, I’ve always seen:

The righteous men abandon.

Pls, shout alalayah somebody!

Church comes alla Sundays;

Pay ya tithe, and mountain;

Dem a gong’ be removed o..

Sweet song choristers sing;

Short while, worship’s over;

Pastor flies away in aircraft;

Poor man gnash inna teeth;

Walking in a  scorchin’ sun!

I was young and now, am old;

Since mama born me into life;

Day long into night-every day;

In nairaland, I’ve always seen:

The righteous men abandon!

Pls, shout alalayah somebody!

Mosque comes all Fridays;

Sai, lahila ilala Lahila ilaala;

Sweet song YOMBAS sing;

Short while, worship’s over;

Emir rides away on a horse;

Poor man gnash inna teeth;

Walking in a scorchin’ sun;

Tailing Emir-igbakeji Orisa!

I was young and now, am old;

Since mama born me into life;

Day long into night-every day;

In nairaland, I’ve always seen:

The righteous men abandon.

Pls, shout alalayah somebody!
