It’s again bombing!
Boko’s come back over!
It’s maiming and killing;
Kano people are sweating hell;
I remember couple of years;
JTF storms the delta creek;
Creek of the Ijaw;
The black shining people;
Searching for Tompolo and his gangs;
Guns cracking, bombs banging;
It’s a doom day!
Is this the long prophesied doom?
Children run underneath the table;
Underneath the bed, into the bush;
Like bat evading furnace of wild
fire;
Until the legs can’t longer carry;
Some struck by bullets;
Some bitten by snakes;
Innocents die without;
The least consideration;
Because oil is more important;
O, see the children crying;
See the children dying;
Hear the women wailing;
Is not in brotherhood,
We've come this long?
How long we’re to learn?
We just gotta stop this war;
Common, right now!
O, my people;
I say right now!
Every time is bombing;
Every day is killing;
Boko today, Mend tomorrow;
Kidnappers, too, lurk in corner;
Robbers, too, go wild with killing;
Human trafficking on the rampage;
No one cares about;
His fellow men;
In as much there’s money;
O, see the children crying;
See the children dying;
See the women wailing;
Is not in brotherhood,
We've come this long?
How long we’re to learn?
We just gotta stop this war;
Common, right now!
