Is Nigeria not the land of ya birth?

Someone had asked me;

Sometime ago;

O yea. Nigeria’s the land o my birth;

I’m a Nigeria man;

However, like other men;

I forever run away;

See them lot of stealing;

Kidnapping, bombing, killings;

Blood flowing, every day;

But, I’d rather run;

Than someone get me killed;

Hunger everywhere,

Starving and death all around;

But, now, I’m American man;
